Who are Green Gravity?

Green Gravity is an innovative, Australian based, clean technologies company focused on repurposing historic mines into vibrant, economic, and strategic providers of renewable energy.

Founded in 2021, Green Gravity has developed a technology that utilises heavy objects moving vertically through legacy mineshafts to exchange electrical and gravitational potential energy.

Wollongong is fast becoming a regional clean energy technology hub. Green Gravity’s R&D facility in Port Kembla, the Gravity LabTM, is enabling the company to develop clean tech to export to the world and ensure Wollongong is playing a key role in our transition to Net Zero and clean energy.
