Wollongong is known for its beautiful beaches and coastal vibe, and here at Invest Wollongong we also want our city to be known as a great base for business.
That’s why we’ve begun a new campaign to get the message out to any business looking for a CBD location: Wollongong offers an ideal mix of everything a business needs, in a vibrant coastal environment.
This month, we’re kicking off advertising to promote Wollongong CBD to Sydney-based businesses as a great alternative option for an office location.
Wollongong CBD has seen an impressive 75% uplift in premium A-grade office stock added in the last 5 years. This comprises of 30,000sqm of newly constructed premium office accommodation and 34,000sqm proposed in the approved development pipeline. This transformation has meant our city can truly offer a legitimate, alternative CBD location.
We already know our city is a great place for business, with a solid track-record of supporting business to grow and even go global. Our aim is to demonstrate Wollongong’s credentials outside of our region.
Digital advertising campaign
The new advertising campaign will focus on key decision makers in businesses across industries in the Greater Sydney area, beginning with profiles of Wollongong and its benefits for business in finance media.
It will also feature advertising on websites, search engines and social media as the campaign progresses to engage our target audience to find out more about some of the advantages our city offers for business.
It coincides with the launch of the revamped Invest Wollongong website homepage, providing a fresh new look and content to explore.
We hope to encourage more people to sign-up to receive our bi-monthly enews, to visit our website and get in touch for more information.
Why Wollongong?
At Invest Wollongong, we’ve identified six advantages our city offers business: talent, liveability, infrastructure, proximity, support and a global university. These will inform the messaging of the advertising campaign and educate those unfamiliar with Wollongong the sound business case it offers as an office location.
